First, post and introducing my 90 gallon/12×12gallon sump project. Myself needs eco-friendly plant combinations. Specifically, for the sump and main 90 gallon help is appreciated. Within, the column a little plant specific, nutrient intake, and O2 yield will help classifications and variety.
I have a 250 gallon reef type set up with overflows going into a sump. The sump and tank are completely covered, though not air tight. I've had this tank from my reefing days. The problem is I can't get a pH drop greater than pH= 0.9 and rarely a 1.0 pH drop. I suspect that the overflows could...
Hello forum members. I don't know if this is the right subforum but It seemed the best fit. I converted my 200-gallon reef to freshwater planted. My question is for those with a large tank and sump. Which biological media are you using?
Thanks ahead for your input/suggestions.

I suppose the best place to inject Co2 would be the first...
I have a few questions to you all that are running sumps on your planted aquaria. I have two basic concerns:
1) CO2 management will be difficult due to off-gassing
2) Placing the overflow box in a place that will look good across multiple aquascapes
From what I have read. My first...
Has anyone had success with using a stand-alone CO2 reactor in a sump? (versus returning the water to the tank directly)
I'm running a 40 gal sump beneath a 130 gal display tank, and I'm diffusing CO2 directly into the display tank using an Atomic ceramic diffuser. For purely aesthetic...
hi , after my 120 leaked, I was able to get a cadlight tank 92 gallon, came with a 32g sump. And the tank has corner overflow an drilled at the bottom.it has durso style plumping
My old set up was with 3 canister ( nu clear) flters on one pump, and 2 AM 1000 reactor is separate pump.
