    Victor Regulator Outlet Connection Difference?

    Hi everyone, I have my eyes on an HPT500 regulator but the outlet has an extra Diaphragm valve 1/4" female NPT (DK4F model). If I get it, shall I get rid of the extra valve or get some (yet unknown) connector to go from 1/4 to 1/8? Is this extra diaphragm valve used for something? Many thanks!
