Also, what convinced you to go only to 2 days/week for macros?

I do 2X a week water changes and dose right after the water change.
That's the reality. Traces I dose when I remember pretty much. I do miss 1-2 days at times.

30ppm a week of NO3 is lean? 10 ppm of PO4 is lean? 40-50ppm of K+ is lean?
That's over 4 ppm a day worth of NO3, over 1 ppm a day or PO4 and 5-7 ppm of K+ per day.
I do not think anyone would call that particularly lean.

Ups I misinterpreted your post, my mistake. Yeah I would not call that lean LOL

I removed the Erio Compressum. It was never meant to be in the scape anyway, and it's now in my 180 in place of the Blyxa.

Downoi now is in that place and I moved the S. madiera over to the far right front side. I think both plants will do better in each location that they were prior.
I'll need to redo the Cuphea section some and I might bring back the Rotala green to this side where I had it once before. I have the L. guinea Wavy there now, it was left ina bucket for a few days, so it'll perk up good.
Not really a good contrast though with the Myrio behind it though.

I have some Hydrothrix, but it's got a similar fine leaf as the Myrio, but a different color shade/darker green.
I have reg Erio setaceum(normal type) and also the giant type 3. I could split those on either side of the tank.
I doubt I'll do that however.

Anubias petite nana is an option as is some Bolbitus or some plant I've not yet considered.
Most of the other spots are filled well and locked in for the moment.

Just that side really.

Downoi and the Blood vomits will fill in well.

Tank is hazy after uprooting the Erios and Downoi.
Be a day or two till that clears.

180 Gallon got hammered with massive trims. It's still scaped, but sections are certain farms. Not scapes.
I'll get it back to a scape in a few more weeks, the Starougyne was mowed to the bone.

I have a lot of nice Rotala sunset and L. red pantanal. I can grow them emergent outside now. Both are nice and weedy, but not the easiest plants for folks, so there might be a club member or two around that might take them and then farm a few back. to me in the future.

Or a BR member.

If you kill them off, or leave with only a few ratty stems, then you buy it(which would be a fair amount).
So do not offer unless you are pretty certain of your growing skills.

I'll likely get some started outside and then sell the rest once those take nicely.

I liked the compressum also.
But I had a plan a while ago and I'd like to see that completed.
It's for the 180.

It's a slower less uprooting type of tank.
Mostly just mowing and the Blyxa is a bit weedy, so this will be a good place/home for it.
It's good of the R sunset and Red pant also, but those are far more weedy.

Starougyne is nice weed and somewhat slow growing.
So that stays in the 180 vs say Downoi or belem grass(70 Gallon).

R sunset and Red pant also recover and grow like mad once you brign them back submersed.

General plan for the 180 is a more greener cooler feel, more a nature scape I suppose.
Ero setaceum type 3 behind the Erio Compressum.
In the 1/3 rear of left side, Crypt red metallic, Crypt aponogetiifolia and a monster Lace plant with 24x6" leaves. The middle has the Red pant and R sunset.

I also added a lot of the Buce/moss mix to the wood in the 180. Cannot have enough of those plants really.
Over time, this will look good, grow well and be fairly profitable.

Most of the plants are easy to care for, slower growing and do not change the flow of the tank that much.

The 120 has shifted more this direction also, removing the more troublesome plants to trim and keeping a few that are hard to replace otherwise.
So I have a few weeds in the 120, but will have virtually none in the 180, and the 70 gallon.

Weed list for the 120:

L. sphaerocarpa
L tornado
R wallichii
R macrandra
L. "red"

Most of the others are VERY well behaved.

So 5 mid sized groups are the ones that need hacked often, the others, maybe once every 3-4 weeks etc.

I have some work for the Bonsai coming up.
And then a garden for food and a small greenhouse to build.
So I have to dig up some plants and move them.

Then put the Green house in place, then the garden while picking at various bonsai trees.
Our local Bonsai club has taught me a lot the last year or so. I combine my rock and wood skills with hardscapes very well to Bonsai.

I haven't even gotten over the last scape but this one is just amazing. I really like the Ricardia on the drift wood that just takes it over the top.
