Can someone recommend a good Phosphate test kit that won't break the bank. I'm currently using the SeaChem kit and it's driving me crazy. :gw

Thanks.

Re: Decent Phosphate Test Kit

I found the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals the easiest to distinguish the color variations. And it's only $5.49 at Big Als. I also calibrated it and it was very accurate. I would say it's decent.

Re: Decent Phosphate Test Kit

I am happy with the API test kit. One caveat: It should be replaced every 12 months or so. Mine, at least, started giving incorrect results about that time.

("Incorrect" = "That doesn't seem right" AND a new kit "Seems right.")

Re: Decent Phosphate Test Kit

Thanks Guys,

I have the AP mini kit and I'm resonably happy with most of them. I also like my Salifert Nitrate test kit, too bad the Phosphate doesn't look as good.

What about the Nutrafin kit with the three bottles? I'm resonably pleased with my Nutrafin Iron kit.

Thanks.
