Mono Potassium Phosphate (also known as Potassium di hydrogen Phosphate) K2SO4 (Potassium Sulphate)

All above 5bag? that all above contain NPK and 2more fert stated above right?

Is Biollante and Philosophos here? Is there any comment to add or advice before i mark the go. :) Hey thanks Nipat too :)

I'll start off with addressing macros here.

If you can get K2SO4 in Singapore, then do so. If not, you can probably top off the missing K+ with Seachem's Potassium. The 4 compounds you have listed there do not cover for the extra potassium needed on top of what they provide.

If you can't get any of those chemicals, you can use Seachem's Equilibrium, then top it off with Flourish K+ and Flourish N. I would not use this this method if you have hard water; I used to post over on AQ more frequently, and I know SG water varies a lot.

If you want to use Tropica Plant Nutrition, you can dose 75ml a week and then top off your K+ with some K2SO4 or Flourish K+. This will take care of everything in the most simple way, but is probably the most expensive route. If you have soft water, you may need some CaSO4 or CaCl2 to raise the calcium.

Now, as for micro nutrients...

If you use the first two methods I described, you can use CSM+B, TPN/TPN + or Flourish to accomplish what you need. I prefer CSM+B for price and iron concentrations, TPN/TPN+ used as a micro only works well but I'd use some chelated iron with it possibly. Flourish works on its own. If you can get flourish plus one other type of micronutrient, you can switch between the two to make up for any possible nutrient deficiencies that exist between the ferts and the tap water.

And finally, I looked over the LushGro line. I can't say I like the look of it as well as any of what I listed above, but if there's nothing else available, it's worth a try. The LushGro Aqua would need more N and PO4. The LushGro Hydro Solid looks good (copper levels shouldn't be a problem) but it would need more N and K to make up for its high PO4. The other lines didn't look too worth while to me. Either of these options would probably benefit from some LushGro Trace, or any other trace we've talked about so far.

Yes, this is why many folk use CSM+B or another trace.

Tom is currently working on getting his own out to us :)

You can also buy a much larger TPN but will pay much more for it...

It IS an excellent product however and I have had good success with it.

I got confuse. U said that is why many ppl use CSM+B or another trace product but i'm talking about the Tropica Plant Nutrition which is providing NPK and not the trace u mention.

Beside dosing Tropica Plant Nutrition (Contain NPK), we still need to dose trace (Plantex csm+b) right? So ...???? kind Confuse by you now...???

Order

K26
3 x K29
K49
K55

I'd mix the K49 into the K55 product and use that as the trace micro mix.

Regards,
Tom Barr

Nipat recommend me to get

Calcium Sulphate - k15
Magnesium Sulphate - k20
Potassium Nitrate - k28
Mono Potassium Phosphate(also known as Potassium di hydrogen Phosphate) - k25

So apart from these 2 set of choices which should i go for ect? is there any different? Why is there 2 different set of fert as i thought getting NPK and trace will be for EI dosing? Thanks for advice. Hope to comes up with a final decision by these few hours so i can go and get the fert in the morning :)

Don't you see K25 and K26 are just the same thing, the difference is just bag size?
Also for K28 and K29.

Read more throughly.

PS. I've never told you to buy by K-coding, I just said type of the fert, ie
Potassium Nitrate etc. You're putting words into my mouth.

hey really sorry if there is any misunderstanding in my posting. Hope u will't be angry.

I'm try to said the different in Calcium Sulphate and Magnesium Sulphate which u highlighted to me and i look for the K coding and place the K coding there to understand which to get. I know the k25 and k26 as well as k28 and k29 but i'm only try to ask regarding the Calcium Sulphate and Magnesium Sulphate which u mention and the coding from the catalog is k15 and k20.

Hope u dun get so angry and sorry about my posting if it cause misunderstanding. I'm very new to this fert thingy and i know i cause u guys trouble too but i really wish to get everything right and make the right order to feed my plant ... Once again sorry and thanks

Surprise, AZ
What Tom Barr Says.

Hi,

I think you should do what Tom Barr suggested.:)
  • K26 LUSHGro – Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (1 kg) K2HPO4
  • K29 LUSHGro – Potassium Nitrate (1 kg) KNO3, I know this requires a permit, I think it is just registration. Tom Barr Has recommended purchasing three of these; I think one is good for now.
  • K49 LUSHGro - Rexolin D11 (100 g) Fe-DTPA containing 11% chelated iron
  • K55 LUSHGro - Rexolin APN (100 g)
  • an ideal mixture of all chelated nutrients mentioned above containing 5.8% iron, 2.3% manganese, 1.3% zinc, 1.05% boron, 0.25% copper, 0.24% molybdenum and 0.03% cobalt
These are ideal chemicals for EI method.

I think you will need to register with the police to purchase LushGro catalog item K29, the Potassium Nitrate (1 kg).

This is for Nipat:
  • If I offended you, I did not mean to, my most humble apology. My comment regarding the CO2 toxicity was unnecessarily abrasive.
  • I still believe you are mistaken about the dosing of Tropica + Liquid, when I used APC’s Fertilator, http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumapc/fertilator.php, one I think you cite, I came up with nearly identical numbers to what I posted earlier, based on labeling.
  • I think there is enough of a language difficulty here that care should be taken not to further confuse the issue.
  • We can only offer aid, the understanding and decision is solely the responsibility of the recipient.

Hey i'm really happy to see u back here, Philosophos is also helping me using PM.

Ok due to budget i will not get the 1Kg of the fert. I will get

LUSHGro - Potassium
Nitrate either 100g or 500g (Kno3)
(i can get the Potassium Nitrate without apply from police only if i get them to premix with others fert and i'm going to get them to premix Potassium Nitrate with Potassium dihydrogen phosphate)
And

LUSHGro - Potassium
dihydrogen phosphate (100 g)

As for the premix, i seek advice from Philosophos too and i will get them to premix both fert in the ration of

33-40g Potassium Nitrate with
7.2g Potassium Phosphate

I will enforced the ration for more, maybe like

494g Potassium Nitrate
93.6g Potassium Phosphate
It's 13times of the above ration.

So far am i correct? :)

Actually I was recommending 33-40g of K2SO4 to go with the 33g of KNO3.

LUSHGro - Potassium
Nitrate Kn03 33g

+

LUSHGro - Potassium
dihydrogen phosphate 7.2g

+
Potassium
Sulphate
