Haha, let's see if you can ID this one.
The river has a GH of 26 degrees, KH of 19.
Found in what most would call a "desert".

Oh this weed grows in some of the hardest water I know of..........Mono lake would be the the next step...........pH is about 9.5 here. This plant just grows and grows.

But it's not an Ammannia, not even close.

haha, just a guess, the growth pattern looks similar. I have no clue then, but that water is like liquid rock.... is it something that is common in the hobby? or one of those less seen plants?

It's more weedy than any of those plants: here's the sword plant, E berteroi in it's only know natural range:
These two plants grow side by side.

Well, Ludwigia glandulosa is also out there in the Southern US, but I would not call it "weedy". This kind of looks like a Nitrate starved plant that may actually be green otherwise... Just not sure what though...

It's in the Scroph family.
Folks are still a long way off...............
you have 2 more days to figure it out.

Nope, it's not a genus that's normally kept in the hobby and there are few submersed pictures of it.

Keep trying:)

One guy over at TPT got it already, he just did lots of search engine rather than figuring what is really was after I gave a few hints.
