Hello From Mn

Hello my name is Tristan and I am currently setting up a 46g bow planted tank. I used to have a 60g with a few plants here and there but I didn’t really know what I was doing. With the 46g I’ll be using the ADA substrate system along with implementing pressurized CO2. For filtration, I’m using the Fluval G3 canister filter. Not sure which plants I’ll be using yet but I will be doing the EI system for dosing. I’m a newbie to all this so any advice is encouraged. Thanks for viewing.

Maybe you can start a journal and post there what you plan to do, keep it updated as you gather equipment, plant and see plants grow. Makes for a good memory lane plus it will help other members be more familiar with your tank.

Thanks for reply. I do plan on making a Journal for the aquarium for the forum to see. Hopefully I will see your input on the progression!

I've been into the hobby for a couple years but as far as planted tanks go, I'm a newbie. I've been searching around for a good community like this and I'm glad I found it.
