Some issues with my kh. Probably because of eheim substrate pro. (It get to danger zone 4 ppm) even that i do 50% weekly water changes with 2kh water.
I trow in some bucephalandras for fun and contrast

Are you afraid for pantanal when talking about Kh ? changing from 2 to 4 ?
Well I never had pantanal but don't think this would be an issue, I know in Cluj you have low Kh water but if I had 2 kh water I would add some baking soda to raise a bit Kh

Pantanal is happy for now. Tonina fluviatilis and syngonantus macrocaulon are very unhappy

I had so many that i could trow away. But in my last setup with inert soil (quart) and with 2 KH. They grow the best under 0-2 kh. Over 4-5 they die. I got out all my eheim substrat pro (12 liters) from the filter and i added other media (siporax, micromec and regular pumice) i think the filter media was guilty for my big KH values. Now i hope they will start to grow like old days. Afterall is a syngonanthus dedicated scape (with dennerle scapers soil)

I bumped my fish load. Now there are 150 rummynose schooling around. I will add some pics soon as they pic up in color. I dont have to worry now about N deficit.
My lismachia numularia is getting worse. I wonder if is an alcaline water lover plant or is due to the weedmass and problems with co2 beacause it is planted in the oposite corner from my co2 difuzer...

No i found that a good diffuser is more economical than a reactor. The reactor pumps the water with co2 in the upper part of the aquarium so it exit the tank much faster than via co2 diffuzer. Now i put a spliter and i have 2 co2 diffuzer in both corners. I hope the co2 circulation in the tank will improve.

Maybe your co2 goes out faster with the reactor because of this

Yes indeed. This was the case. Now i have 2x internal difuser. More economical and happy plants. I keep those in the far back corners. Since i have plenty of plante it is easy to hide them :)
Have to keep an eye on my pantanal it had a smal diameter. Maybe now will improve and it will grow lateral also not only upside...

Placing two co2 diffusers in both corners makes me feel that you also had flow problems , maybe because the height of your plants

But as we all know , each tank is different :)

Hope you will find a good way to diffuse your co2

How can i avoid growing nesaea crassicaulis so curly. You can see ammania gracilis has a normal shape leaves. I dont think is a calcium related issue since i have 9-10 gh. Co2 due to overcrowed maybe? But i have no other signs with other co2 lovers plant... when i saw this plant in other tank, Tom Barr,s for instance, i never notice this issue. My ludwigia peruensis has now a curly growth also. Is there the posibility of sulfur toxicity? (I add planty mgso4, k2so4). O am happy with the tank overall! Now my kh is 2 finaly!
