I reset this tank a couple of weeks ago and lately I've been experiencing an algae outbreak.

Substrate is new Amazonia. Lights are sbreef freshwater basics at 10/70. I've been skipping dosing since the outbreak started. I do weekly water changes. Twice a week when I have time.

It may be a little too much light. You could probably manage with just 2 at the start depending on distribution. For how long are they on?

Is the wood also new? New Ada with just weekly wc, new plants adapting to submerged all of these are contributing factors.

If your aquarium has cycled I would add some algae eaters. Juvenile SAE, starved mollies or large Amano will consume that stuff.

Let the tank settle in and bacteria colony build up. Keep up with water changes.
