Now i can actually say I inherited this type algae. I inherited through a stem of pantanal and strands spread, one on mex red, 3 on belem, very hard to spot, you have to look from a below angel to spot these thin strands, i don't know what it is but can say i don't want this type bitch, looks very hard to get rid of. The one on the pantanal went away and the one on the mex red went away, the two belems on the left side have a strand each, and one belem on the right side. I may have missed, but its not much at all. I'm very hoping the belems ones will go away like the other two. Usually in algae woes it comes on really rapid or fast depending on the level of the growers. This is not spreading it seems, i think the 3 from the belem will go away, but the other two plants are faster growers. Both are weeds, pantanal more than the mex red.

20 minutes into co2 injection and my ph is at a 4.9, .6 drop in 20 minutes....I can't even measure my co2 though....The chart doesn't go that low, so whats UP???

Someone can fill in those numbers of the lower pH's?

Otherwise it was pointless buying these test kits.

My kh is 0-1, I put one drop says blue to yellow, it turns light yellow right away, never see any blue

My gh is 0-1, I put one drop says orange to green, it turns light green right away, never see any orange...

Someone can help me out figure my numbers? ppm

After testing pinches and pinches of ferrous I've decided to go straight dry dosing with all my fertilization.

Here are the target ranges I'm aim to achieve

KNO3 30ppm dry dose 7.41g x 2 time a week

PO4 1.5ppm dry dose .325g x 2 time a week

alternate, until i decide which one to use

Miller .5ppm dry dose 1.89g

or

CSM+B .5ppm dry dose .891 g

Ferrous Gluconate AIM 1ppm dry dose 1.22g x1 weekly

Listen

Seein' you got ritualistic

Plans in my soul of addiction for now

'Cause I'm fallin' apart

Tension

Between us just like picket fences

You got issues that I won't mention for now

'Cause we're fallin' apart

Passionate from miles away

Passive with the things you say

Passin' up on my old ways

I can't blame you no

I have some Syngonanthus belem and manaus. They are white in the centre or the tip point. and I think I see the same at the pictures above. Is this a normal habitus for this plant or a deficiency of micro especially iron?

Could be regularity...Or co2, iron, ammonia problem, soft acidic water issues..

If your seeing in belem is more unusual than manaus, manaus tends to do this no matter how much i fertilize

If you were to dose iron and it were deficient you would rapidly see centers green and whitish outwards if deficient and dosed to cure, recovery is within a day period...

Yes, I have just seen a green center and whitish outwards, but how much iron (my target is 2,5 ppm) should I dose and should I also add more micro or only iron?

Thats a good amount, if you can up it more with traces i would do so. Could be one of tfhe Mags deficient too.

Got another question for you Dennis. How much light do you give them? Are they sensitive to it?

4 t5 39w bulbs over a 40breeder

they are high light tolerant, exposed to the direct sunlight in nature

i suppose any plant can be sensitive if you do not feed them enough
