Can someone confirm I did this right.


3000 ml water 30 ml dose daily for a 120 gal tank


KNO3 237 grams


KH2PO4 39 grams


K2SO4 121 grams


wanting to do EI dosing with dosing pumps. Wanting to make sure these are right measurements and chemicals will dissolve in this much water. Thanks for any help.

The solubility of KNO3 is 38.0g / 100g of water at 25C/ 77F.


The solubility of KH2PO4 is 33.0 g/100 ml of water at 25C/ 77F.


The solubility of K2SO4 is 12.0 g/100 ml of water at 25C/ 77F.


Yes your numbers look fine.


End results of dosing: Kno3 3.2 PPM, KH2PO4 .6 PPM and K2SO4 combined with K from other ferts about 3.4 PPM.

Wow. Like a math problem for my girlfriend's 12 year old. Mixing English measurements with metric. Wish I could legally correct the teacher in the parking lot after school. Oh, did I not use my library voice? Oh, Disregard.


KN03 - To reach your target of 7.5ppm NO3 you will need to add 555.5 grams (equivalent to 37 tbsp + 0 tsp + 1/16 tsp + 1/32 tsp ) of KNO3 to your 3000mL dosing container. Add 30mL of that mix to your 120gal aquarium.

 


KH2PO4 -
To reach your target of 1.3ppm PO4 you will need to add 84.61 grams (equivalent to 5 tbsp + 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp + 1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp + 1/32 tsp + 1/64 tsp ) of KH2PO4 to your 3000mL dosing container. Add 30mL of that mix to your 120gal.

 


K2S04 - To reach your target of
7.5ppm K you will need to add 759.21 grams (equivalent to 50 tbsp + 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp + 1/4 tsp + 1/16 tsp + 1/64 tsp ) of K2SO4 to your 3000mL dosing container. Add 30mL of that mix to your 120gal aquarium.

 


For best results, dissolve your dry ferts overnight in cool water.
