Tomorrow is opening day for collecting more wood. My back has healed from last season, I think..........I have 4 new locations to collect from and the old one has opened up again also.

No, it's more due to keeping dirt and gravel roads in good shape when snow and rains come.......and stupid people from getting stuck and in need of rescue/frozen to death.

Hey Tom! I'm looking for a bunch of loose pieces of driftwood so I can create my own scape.....kind of how you use loose pieces to separate species in your dutch...do you have any available?

I received my first order of manzanita from Tom this week. The wood is nice and weathered, looks great! and will work perfectly for my scape project

Big thanks to Tom for providing this to us at a real good cost.

You can see the scale below, it's about 6ft long, much larger than the pic suggest.

I have a few of these as they are going into a 16ft tank.

Stuff sucks if it doesn't sink right away like african root or malaysian driftwood. Thats a problem for me. However looks best out of all woods and great for design. If anyone wants to trade my manzanita (in Southern California) for the first two types of woods mentioned, let me know. I repeat the wood is very artistic and one of the best types for aquarium design.

Nice bonsai tree! Whats the price of something like that? I got one of the "bonsai" from Thailand that are handmade from pieces of different types of wood a while back but haven't used it yet, I have it setup in a 30g but I might use it in my 180. Do you have a price list for your pieces or do you do it by the pound?
