Yeah, they match when I turn DST off. But shouldn't they match when it's set to automatic? Eventually DST is going to change. It's not a big deal just something I found odd.

Tapatalk will be back but vb5 or tapatalk are currently having problems with their plug in, so we are checking daily for this fix, as soon as this is fixed it will be available.

Sorry for any problems caused but it's out of our hands.

Great to know that! I will give a push on the Tapatalk website too :)

Just wondering: have you tried to post on the Tapatalk forums about your mentioned issue?

Great to know that! Looking forward, my usage here is limited... for example, I have issues to upload pictures by using a regular browser. With Tapatalk, that's so easy!

Vbulletin did reply last night and There are no plans in the works to add Tapatalk compatibility. If a mobile app was ever considered it would likely be our own Mobile Suite rather than Tapatalk.

So we will have to wait unfortunately :(

This seems to be the problem with vbulletin lately, they are all me me me and not the users / customers, I'm actually annoyed at that reply as i would expect them to support a very popular app, however I do know from statistics that Tapatalk was only used by a handful of members on here before the upgrade.

I must have been one of the handful of users. I will say that all other forums I have joined or viewed have also had tapatalk support. That's no doubt a bummer for us as it made it simpler without having to bring up multiple web pages to view different forums.

Too bad indeed. As ltb420 said, all other forums are compatible with Tapatalk, and it is really unfortunate that The Best Aquarium plants forum is not. I know folks at vBulletin, I bought 2-3 licenses for some of my websites, and they have always been of pretty "closed" mindset. So, their reply doesn't surprise me. Have you tried to ask Tapatalk folks? What do they say about all this?

Yes its vbulletin and not tapatalk, without support from vbulletin Tapatalk have no say.

Im with you my other forum has Tapatalk and so did my older ones.

I'm also one of those users.

The other thing is forum runner that is similar to Tapatalk is also owned by vbulletin 'internet brands' and no doubt is supported? But ive not tested it yet.

I have tried Forum Runner right now, but Barrreport cannot be found and there is no way to enter a specific URL. Useless for now.

I was thinking, I am a web programmer and I think that these forums here could be easily hacked to become Tapatalk compatible no matter what vBulletin says. If interested, I can help with that.

So why do people use VB5 and not another forum software? Seems like VB5 has issues...like why was it chosen over another software? ......just curious, no idea what's out there.

Vb5 was chosen for a few reasons, spam which seems to of worked for now and a painless quick migration.

At the same time you would of thought that the long time king of forum software would of been the perfect solution but as you and others have noticed they seemed to be interested in sales and not quality.

Vb3 apart from looking dated was the best and vb4 was not to bad either.

The new king seems to be xenforo, xenforo is actually made by the original jelsoft vb3 team.
