Hell froze over.
Wood prices do NOT include the shipping.
Shipping is roughly 15-35$ USPS.
FedEx varies.
Greyhound for larger stuff: 45-60$
Size restrictions and dimensional weight apply so do not think it'll be 20$ to ship some large wide piece that looks nice. I can trim some things down and other need to trima tip off etc to get it into the boxes. Also, find massive large boxes takes some time, Home Depot does not sell them etc, they crush most of the larger boxes at most stores.
This adds a time factor to ship them out promptly. Plan ahead.
I try and ship once a week, Typically Sat.
So if you ordered today on Tues, I'll not ship till Sat, then USPS takes maybe 2-8 days.
I add extra pieces and branches to all orders. Things I would want if I bought the main pieces etc, to add little accents and added branches to the hardscape.
I actually use the wood and scape with it at a high level. If you need ideas, I have plenty.
It is often best to google image the scape idea you are after, then see going about finding the wood from there. Cobbling several smaller branches together rather than finding that perfect epic piece is the best route.
Hey, I do this and I have a mountain of wood. Why? Because the scaling and modular nature allows me to make the look perfect for each and every branch, I cannot do this with a single fused piece.
Then I can screw the wood together, or attach to slate or zip tie smaller stuff.
I soak the wood in those larger plastic trash cans or storage bins for 2-3 weeks personally.
Change the water weekly(mosquitos/remove tannins better). Shrimp will pick the wood very clean after a week in the aquarium.
PM me with your full address for shipping. This is how I keep track of orders. No address, well......I might not keep good track.
This is a typical 45$ box(Includes shipping domestic only) of fragments and smaller pieces not worth taking individual pictures of, please do not ask, if you want to be picky about each little piece, the cost will go up. This is one of the most popular items I sell and with good reason, you get plenty of wood for 20 gallon or smaller tanks and the thicker nice weathered look is very good for scaping. I also sell a smaller twiggy version for 30$ (includes shipping) suited for under 10 Gallon tanks or nano size.
If you have some request on the type of wood frags, let me know, I tend to add a variety so you can try several scapes, and you end up with a lot of options rather than just a few pieces of wood.
