Just read the thread with all that amazing info on buying components to build one's own CO2 regulator, and while I usually enjoy DIY, when it comes to pressurized gas, that's not an area where I have much experience to fall back on. Hopefully, I can find someone locally that can help me and if I can, then this idea really appeals to me.
I've also been looking at reviews of various regulators you can buy that are all put together. So far, they all seem to have at least one con that I really don't care for.
The largest tank I run is only 33G, but I run a lot of tanks and most are planted. So there are more than a few tanks that I'd like to have with reliable CO2. I expect I may have to invest in some separate, smaller systems to serve all the tanks I'd like, but, one step at a time, right?
I'm sure many have asked before me, but, I'd greatly appreciate some good advice. Either from someone who builds these things and knows about them or about the best brands that may be worth the investment.
What exactly do I want? I want the regulator to be a dual stage one, as I think this is worth the extra cost. I want to be able to use a manifold, so as to serve several tanks from the main regulator. I want it reliable and highest quality.
I am more than willing to pay for all that.
I'm in Canada, btw.
