What's The Best Investment, For Co2 Regulators & What Goes With Them

Just read the thread with all that amazing info on buying components to build one's own CO2 regulator, and while I usually enjoy DIY, when it comes to pressurized gas, that's not an area where I have much experience to fall back on. Hopefully, I can find someone locally that can help me and if I can, then this idea really appeals to me.

I've also been looking at reviews of various regulators you can buy that are all put together. So far, they all seem to have at least one con that I really don't care for.

The largest tank I run is only 33G, but I run a lot of tanks and most are planted. So there are more than a few tanks that I'd like to have with reliable CO2. I expect I may have to invest in some separate, smaller systems to serve all the tanks I'd like, but, one step at a time, right?

I'm sure many have asked before me, but, I'd greatly appreciate some good advice. Either from someone who builds these things and knows about them or about the best brands that may be worth the investment.

What exactly do I want? I want the regulator to be a dual stage one, as I think this is worth the extra cost. I want to be able to use a manifold, so as to serve several tanks from the main regulator. I want it reliable and highest quality.

I am more than willing to pay for all that.

I'm in Canada, btw.

You are looking past the 200 dollar ones. [emoji3] An showcasing the ones that supply Co2 for 5 aquariums.

No, that’s for the smallest dual stage. Dual stage is a great improvement for setting and leaving...otherwise you can dump your tank and kill fish if you’re not watching.

Just from what I understand but I’m a noob...

Are there cheaper, reliable dual stage units without so much diy?

CO2Art has one of the highest quality regulators these days and at a really decent price.

They are the first brand to come to mind when asked about a high quality regulator in Europe. They are well built and very reliable.
