well i was inspired way before so i can't actually call these inspirations

I'm putting all my eggs into this dedication scape
I'm cutting wood, i didn't want to cut i break pieces i don't want to break, i'm using plants i don't really like....Dedicated to my Mom, Him, and myself
And here is how i feel currently, through eminem lyrics......

And see the main reason that i feel like a lame piece of shit
Or should i sound cranky and bitter
Complain, beef and bicker', bout the same things..
Cause when I? look at me, I don't see what they seeeeee
I feel ashamed, greedy

I really hyped this up and feeling disappointment already, while this is the only first attempt, its gonna be a lot harder to complete the hype. Push, pull through and make it all come together.

See the left side is crap so far, If i have more woods creeping downwards diagonally i can get more of the desired look. I literally want the driftwood standing out attacking the center.
2nd time
its not good enough, its not powerful enough, its developing but far from there
the right side doesn't look like an attack at all

Your inspiration made me think of Bonsai driftwood stump.
Saw some nice pieces online but pricey.

If you really passionate about it, and what you want, there are some woods you can't put a price on. Sentimental value woods and such. Sure can sell out, but why?
unless something better out there.
Anyways if its something thats gonna be creative, or push yourself or improve your technique improve your scape abilities, why not shell out the extra cash
Its better than buying a junk piece for cheap and being half satisfied with it
If it were my goal, and one day it may be, I would not bat an eye @ some of those bonsai stumps cost.

tree looks too dominant, but the tree I'm getting is a lot smaller
I put it in there to see the spacing i can get
i flooded it so wood will sink, it will never look the same or the exact same again
so it'll be awhile for updates, been waterlogged before, i'm just not sure how fast the thick stumps will sink, the thinner stuff and less of weight sink faster, go figure.
I got the tree in. This tree is not fully representable of the Tree of Life, i'm hoping that it'll all come together. So with this tree, i just gotta pack it up and grow a bunch of lush on it. I hope this turns out dope.
I got the white rocks from a lfs, they said it didn't alter water chemistry, but upon hammering them i smelled a lot of sulfur, so iono. They're good and what i was looking for, they only had two left, which in turn was perfect for circling around the tree.

Thinking about the title of this build "Wrath-on-the-tree-of-life" I have to admit - the above pic pretty clearly hits the nail on the head. Initially was not sure where you were headed when the build started, but I certainly can now
Looks great. My only complaint is the small piece of driftwood that sticks in front of the tree.
