Just found this https://www.nano-reef.com/forums/to...-bar-perfect-for-wire-hanging-nano-box-units/I have been wondering the same thing- so thanks for asking this.
Yea I liked the sleek look to it, very smooth... could you use wood for a small not heavy light as well? I suppose.... hmmm...That method does provide a really nice finished look, though!
Been looking for some cool ideas and so far this is one of best. Been adding up the things to do with the tank that I will start working right after I finished installing the Smittybilt parts on the current jeep project.Just found this https://www.nano-reef.com/forums/to...-bar-perfect-for-wire-hanging-nano-box-units/
But I am still open to other options as well. So far this one seems pretty 10/10
Could you put the light in conduit (http://www.homedepot.com/b/Galvanized-Steel/N-5yc1vZbohlZ1z0ugnq) or something and have the conduit stuck to the back of your stand? like this.I may try to figure out something that attaches to the stand.
You can also do much the same thing using copper piping and soldered elbow fittings. I don't know which way would look best. And, of course copper piping is now very expensive. If I ever need to suspend a light again I may try the copper method. It is only usable for light weight lights.Yea I liked the sleek look to it, very smooth... could you use wood for a small not heavy light as well? I suppose.... hmmm...
